The Federal Carbon Charge applied to natural gas customers ends after March 31, 2025.
There will be no Federal Carbon Charge on natural gas used by our customers on or after April 1, 2025.
Federal Carbon Charges still apply to any natural gas our customers use before April 1, 2025 and will show up during the next billing cycle.
This may mean that you can receive a bill after April 1 that has a Federal Carbon Charge on the natural gas you used before April 1, 2025.
This applies to all of our natural gas customers, regardless if you are a business/commercial or a residential customer.
