April 17, 2024: Manitoba Hydro has suspended processing new electrical service requests for cryptocurrency operations. This Manitoba government directive under The Crown Corporations Governance and Accountability Act will be in effect until April 30, 2026.

Complete the natural gas load summary (Excel, 17 KB)with a detailed list of mechanical loads. Upload as a Microsoft Excel (XLS or XLSX) file format only.

Provide a breakdown of the following mechanical loads, if applicable

Are you installing a natural gas generator?
Will the natural gas generator supply emergency power to a healthcare facility or support building life safety systems to meet the requirements of the National Building Code of Canada and CSA Standard C282 – “Emergency Electrical Power Supply for Buildings” – during a power failure?

Note: Examples of building life safety systems include things like fire alarms, emergency voice communication, elevators for firefighters and in tall buildings, fire pumps, systems to control smoke and smoke venting, emergency lighting, and hardwired exit signs.

Required documents

Upload all applicable documents to help us with the plan and design of your request, including:

  • site plan;
  • barcode number on closest hydro pole;
  • electric loading breakdown, including single line diagram;
  • natural gas load summary.

Your application will not be processed without all applicable documents. Do not attach your AutoCAD file. Your energy services advisor will contact you to finalize your application and request your AutoCAD file.
