A term sheet providing for a new long–term power sale has been signed between Manitoba Hydro and SaskPower which will see up to 215 megawatts of renewable hydroelectricity flow from Manitoba to Saskatchewan beginning in 2022.

Residents along the Winnipeg River, between the Pine Falls and Great Falls generating stations, may see lower than usual water levels October 14-18 as Manitoba Hydro conducts maintenance work on two turbines at the Pine Falls Generating Station.
