Lake Winnipeg water levels will be high all summer due to spring rain storms and will gradually recede into the fall. Manitoba Hydro, through the Lake Winnipeg Regulation Project, is flowing as much water as possible out of Lake Winnipeg.

Members of Unifor at Manitoba Hydro initiate strike action
Unifor Local 681 has advised that all Manitoba Hydro Unifor members across the province will commence strike action at 6:30 a.m. Friday, June 17. Unifor represents approximate 230 natural gas workers at Manitoba Hydro across the province.
