Each power outage is different. Our crews must locate and assess the cause of the outage and communicate with other crews and our dispatch centre, often during challenging conditions such as darkness, wind, rain, or blowing snow. We will default our estimated time of restoration to three hours until our teams have had a chance to assess the situation.
The best way to stay informed of an outage, including any changes in the work to restore your power and when it is restored, is by subscribing to outage notifications on your online account. We will notify you be email, text or over the phone throughout a power outage.
