We are contracted by the City of Winnipeg to install, maintain and repair streetlights when they are reported to us. Street lights outside the city of Winnipeg should be reported to the respective RM.
Report these issues:
- street light outages
- strobing lights (blinking)
- street light on during the day
- purple or blue streetlights
Street light outage restoration times
We aim to repair multiple street light outages within 14 calendar days and single outages within 30. Unlike power outages, reporting the same outage multiple times will not increase urgency. We prioritize based on workload and complexity of the repair.
How to report
Report street light outages online. Have as much information as possible including:
- contact Information: we may contact you to clarify your report
- type of problem: street light out, blinking light, purple light, etc.
- description of the problem: number of streetlights affected (one or more)
- location of the street light outage: any details you can provide are helpful
- street light/pole serial number: this helps our team identify where the issue exists
